Now that we have determined who the Stand-On vessel with a CPA less than 2 miles is, how can we increase their CPA?
Let's pretend we can freeze time so no vessel is moving.
We want the target's echo trail to follow a path that increases the CPA to 2 miles.
There is no need to plot the following demonstration.
A line was plotted through M to the outside of the 2 mile ring. It is the New Relative Motion Line (NRML) we want the echo trail to follow as we pass astern of target B.
